Features & Application
The main solution comprises of a fixed dual lens bullet camera which can either be wall mounted or fitted on a tripod for mobility. The Black Body is used as a temperature reference point which allows the camera to monitor the temperature of individuals based on the Blackbody being 35 Degrees Celsius, plus a NVR recording device coupled with the bespoke software allowing you to record and monitor up to 24 people per second.
The system records both heat signatures as well as HD quality footage simultaneously giving the user an easy identification tool to pick an individual out from the crowd. The software is equipped with in built alarms to detect above normal body temperatures whilst avoiding false positives given off for hot beverages, helmets, balaclava’s, or hats.
Packaged in with the vital equipment above is a stand alone screen for you to monitor activity.
A standout feature for Dahua’s system is the use of advanced Facial Detection technology. This enables the camera to understand what it sees and pinpoint the forehead of the person who’s temperature is being measured. This not only increases the accuracy of the temperature reading, but also allows the technology to function in a non-invasive way.
ADVANCED TEMPERATURE DETECTION
Imagine a screening package that can accurately detect fever and high temperature in individuals, in the areas we need it most.
Our thermal imaging fever screening system is used as a first level mass screening test for accurately identifying individuals that have an above normal body temperature, often the first sign of possible infectious diseases. Sadly, we have seen a rapid increase in these diseases over the past twenty years, from Covid-19, SARS, variants of influenza and Ebola.
The World Health Organisation have recently advised that: “Thermal scanners are effective in detecting people who have developed a fever (i.e. have a higher than normal body temperature) because of infection with the new coronavirus.”
From hospitals, airports, train stations, schools or care homes to name but a few, this solution can be applied to a limitless amount of businesses and buildings, both indoor and outdoor.
Engage can deliver this robust, proven and trustworthy package as a managed service, ensuring you have peace of mind at all times. Aside from the enormous social and health benefits, this offers confidence that your building will be a safer environment to work, learn, visit or live in.
